Welcome to ‘Shoot for the Moon’ the new landscape photography journal from Gill Moon. A monthly bulletin full of hints and tips to inspire your photography.
Over the coming months I will be covering all sorts of topics related to outdoor photography which I hope will inspire you to get out with your camera. Each volume will have a monthly theme and a corresponding photography challenge. The challenges are intended as a little bit of inspiration to give you a photographic focus for the month. Hopefully they will be fun and will make you think and also give you a good excuse to get out with your camera.
February’s edition is all about seascapes and the techniques used to capture them.
In this edition I will look at composition, creative techniques including long exposures and ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and post processing. I will also look at some other photographers who have inspired me with their seascape and marine photography.
