Best known for its long shingle beach, fishing boats, giant scallop shell and colourful seafront buildings this town has changed little over the years and makes a great place for photography.
Our walk will start from the Scallop Shell car park on Thorpe Road and will continue along the seafront taking in all the sights that this town is famous for including the Scallop Shell, fishing boats, the Moot Hall, the RNLI building, and an array of beautiful architecture. We will learn how to ‘see’ an image and compose for the wider landscape as well as more intimate details.
On this walk you will learn all about composition and how to use it creatively to improve your images.
Experiment with the rule of thirds and placing elements within your frame.

All Aldeburgh Photo walks start from the Scallop Shell Car Park in Thorpe Road IP16 4NR, Grid Reference: TM 46643 57520 This is a 240 space car park and costs £2 for 4 hours.
Please bring your camera, suitable footwear for walking on shingle beaches and paths and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
The walk will involve some fun challenges to help you get the most out of your images, some notes will be provided to help with this.
